Held each year on the Thursday before Easter, this is a solemn time of Worship and Communion. This Service of Tenebrae (Tenebrae is the Latin word for ‘shadows’) is a prolonged meditation on Christ’s suffering. Through a series of readings, special music, and the ever-increasing darkness, we experience the darkness of the Crucifixion. Worshipers then leave in silence to ponder the impact of Christ's death and await the celebration of the coming Resurrection. You are invited to join us for this meaningful Holy Week service
